Basic Life Support (BLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is needed by many Health Care Professionals in Canada. In addition, the BLS program replaced the CPR-HCP program, in April of 2019.

Brief Description of the Course:

The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is to build confidence to participants when performing CPR. Furthermore, the program focuses heavily on the 'team environment'.

Who Needs the BLS Certification?

Many different students, occupations and professionals need the BLS certification; therefore, there is a gigantic list (but not limited to):

  • Doctors
  • Medical Students
  • Nursing Students
  • Registered Nurses (RN)
  • Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
