Online component must be completed before attending the classroom portion of the course. If no email received after 24 business hours, please get in touch with us ASAP.

Cancellation: Our classes hold limited seating, and many of our classes are full. For this reason, we accept cancellations (with full refund) at least 7 days before the scheduled class. This will allow us to offer the seat to another student. All cancellation request must be in writing sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org. If students fail to request cancellation with at least 7 days notice, students will not be compensated in any form.
Reschedule: Our classes hold limited seating, and many of our classes are full. For this reason, we accept reschedules (with credit to another course) at least 5 days before the scheduled class. This will allow us to offer the seat to another student. All reschedule request must be in writing sent to: email@example.com. If students fail to request reschedule with at least 5 days notice, students will not be compensated in any form.
No-show: Students will not be compensated in any form.
Late to class: Vida First Aid encourages the '20 to 10' window. Students are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes early to class, and will be turned back if they are more than 10 minutes late to class. Students will not be compensated in any form for arriving late to class.
Blended Learning (CPR-C, Emergency and Standard First Aid): Vida First Aid has a STRICT policy for students attending the in-class portion without the completion of the online component. If the online component is not completed before the classroom session, students will be sent home and absolutely no refund will be processed. Please note that failure complete the online component due to technical difficulties is also not a valid reason. We heavily suggest all Blended Learning students to access the online component as soon as possible, for any potential technical difficulties.
Recertification Courses: To qualify for a recertification, students must hold a certification from one of the National Training Agencies: Canadian Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (CPR only), Lifesaving Society, and the Canadian Ski Patrol. Failure to provide valid certification will result in students not being compensated in any form.
Wrong Course Sign-up: Students are responsible for signing up for their own courses that they require online. Vida First Aid is not responsible for any wrong sign-ups. Students will not be compensated in any form.
